Low carb/keto bars

Low carb/keto bars are specifically designed to align with ketogenic diets, emphasizing high fats, moderate proteins, and very low carbohydrates. These bars substitute traditional carbohydrate sources with nuts, seeds, and fibers, minimizing the impact on blood sugar levels.

1. Net carbohydrates: Ensure the bars contain less than 5 grams of net carbs per serving. Net carbs are calculated by subtracting fiber and sugar alcohols from total carbohydrates.

2. Fat: Look for bars that use high-quality fat sources like MCT oil, coconut oil, nuts, and seeds.

3. Protein: Choose bars with 8-10 grams of protein per serving.

4. Fiber: Opt for bars that have at least 3-5 grams of fiber per serving.

5. Sweeteners: Select bars sweetened with low-glycemic, keto-friendly sweeteners like erythritol, stevia, or monk fruit. Avoid bars with high-glycemic sweeteners such as sugar or honey.

6. Additives: Steer clear of artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.

When selecting low carb/keto bars, prioritize those with minimal net carbs, healthy fats, moderate protein, and high fiber, all sweetened with keto-friendly options. Avoid artificial ingredients and excessive additives.
