Dairy based spreads

These spreads are made from dairy products and often combined with other ingredients like herbs and spices. While providing the creamy texture and rich taste, these spreads also offer essential nutrients such as calcium, vitamins A and D, and essential fatty acids. However, their nutritional value can vary significantly based on their fat content and the presence of added ingredients.

1. Primary ingredient: Choose spreads that prominently feature dairy as the primary ingredient.

2. Sodium: Opt for spreads with less than 100 mg of sodium per serving.

3. Additives: Select dairy spreads free from artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.

4. Fat: Look for spreads with lower amounts of saturated fats and free from trans fats.

When choosing dairy-based spreads, prioritize those with natural ingredients, low in saturated fats and sodium, and free from artificial additives.
